RRSGA Meeting Minutes

October13, 2021

Meeting was called to order at 12:45 on 10-13-2021

Officers attending were: Jim Hogan, Tim Koscinski, Thom Blake, Ed MacHendrie, and Bobby Boyett.

Jim Hogan and Tim Koscinski started off by have the raffle drawing. A raffle ticket was drawn and Richard Blanford won a $300 from the RRSGA in the form of a gift certificate from Ridgeview Ranch.

Jim Hogan, mentioned the possibility of utilizing the new WHS handicap system, or possibly going to the GHIN system. Mentioned about the Championship tournament only had 47 golfers. RRSGA has been averaging around 60 players weekly. He stated that we need to get more players to start back playing the association. HIO funds will still be free entry and the payout will still be $1000. The Board has proposed $20 for 2022 dues. Board will finalize dues with decision on handicap system and will keep RRSGA members advised via emails with final plans.

Marcelo was recognized by RRSGA of doing a good job.

Officer positions that are being vacated for 2022 are VP of Tournaments and Secretary. Tim Koscinski volunteered to remain as VP of Tournaments, and the association seconded. Jim Hogan asked for volunteer for the secretary position. Cliff Roddam asked the question, are the duties that are listed in the By-Laws current, which were read out loud. The duties listed for the secretary are current, so Cliff Roddam volunteered, and the association seconded.

Rick Gilbert was recognized as being the 2021 RRSGA Gross Champion.
